New beginnings and creating healthy habits has been part of my journey most recently. For the past 2.5 years I was in Thailand(Bangkok) for a work commitment followed by breast cancer treatment that ended this past August. All of this left me with a void, searching if you will, for “What is Next?” For me it is all about my purpose and were I can do the most good, make the biggest difference for others and for the planet. 2020 is a blank slat and I decided what I want to bring back into my life is the practice of coaching people. I want to help you create new beginnings and healthy habits. I am a messenger. The message I bring is for you to move into being your best self so that everyone and everything is more positive, more alive and full of more possibilities. While we all have our unique gifts it is time for me to put mine into practice. Areas you may want to explore further as part of a reboot!
- A healthy, sustainable eating plan that is a gradual progression to what supports your body.
- A fitness program that is fun, consistent and fits with your other daily commitments
- A wellness program to help reduce stress, anxiety depression and insomnia
- An accountability plan so that you know you will not be doing any of this alone.
I have learned a great deal about healthy eating, sustainable exercise a wellness practice specific to reducing stress and the importance of sleep. Having a life threatening diagnosis created an opportunity for me to become more educated and more passionate around these areas as I want to avoid re-occurrence and I want to give others the tools to be as healthy as possible. There is now research to support specific health practices and anyone can do them. I do know that making lifestyle/behavior change is not easy and for most people is not done successfully alone. I have had many support people on my recent journey and it has made all the difference. I am wanting to provide this same experience for others so that not only can you live a fuller life but you can go on to contribute your gifts and talents to the world in a big way. What would it take for you to feel stronger, more healthy, rested, less stress or anxious and more joyous? I am excited to be coaching again and welcome opportunities to be a part of what you most desire for yourself. A book I also highly recommend as you examine building new habits is The Power of Habit by Charles Dehigg https://www.amazon.com/Power-Habit-What-Life-Business/dp/081298160X
